This is the forest primeval.
The murmuring pines and the hemlocks, Bearded with moss,
and in garments green,
indistinct in the twilight...
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Today was another rainy, cold day. We attended Court End Christmas again this year. This is a wonderful event provided by The Valentine Richmond History Center. One can tour historic homes, and buildings. Children can make a variety of Holiday decorations in The Activity Center located in the Museum. You can also enjoy carriage rides, Snow Bear, and music by local schools and churches. The best part is its FREE, yes i said free! The Valentine Richmond History Center is THE museum for anyone interested in the history of Richmond, and the people. (My daughter was married in The Wickham Gardens.) Afterwards we enjoyed a delish dinner at Strawberry Street Cafe, a Fan legend for its bathtub salad bar. Later we visited The Farmington Neighborhood for the Tacky Light Tour. The lights were awesome! I was speechless! Wyatt loved the lights. His favorite? Why the Train of course! Until Morrow,Good-Eve
