HALLOWEEN ON HANOVER AVENUE

Hanover Avenue every Halloween is transformed  from beautiful homes to scary, spooky,  and kooky homes. The avenue is packed with people in costumes going from house to house with their children. What a sight to behold! Enjoy the pictures.
Until Morrow-Good Eve!

PUMPKIN PATCH-HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Just a little snack for the road!

Yesterday both of my daughters, Wyatt and i visited the Pumpkin Patch located in Hanover County. This has been a favorite place of our family for years, although we have not been in a few years. Our memoires are of hay rides, apple cider, homemade doughnuts, pumpkins, and The Haunted House. Things have changed in a few years! My daughters stated "very commercial".  You can enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin patch and pick as many pumpkins as you can carry for twenty dollars . If you need Christmas decorations or a tree you can get it for forty percent off. Need a pond for your yard?  No problem, forty percent off. How about some Koi to stock your pond with? Where's the doughnuts, hot apple cider ?  Haunted House and The Boo House, well you need to buy tickets for that!  The hayride was very long , bumpy, colorful and very fun! A good time was had by all without doughnuts and apple cider. Until Morrow-Good Eve!

Enter if you dare!

                                                     Let's go people!

MARCHING BAND

I had the pleasure of going to Huguenot High School where my daughter teaches along with other dedicated teachers for the Marching Band Contest. Huguenot does not compete, the school is the host of the event. The band did perform. There are three divisions A, AA, and AAA. We were only going to stay for one hour, however the event was so entertaining that we stayed  at least four hours!  Wyatt had a good time playing  on the hill overlooking the football field. As the afternoon turned into evening, the temperature started to drop. We ate hot dogs, french fries, chips, and soft drinks. Being outdoors sure makes you hungry!  Wyatt fell asleep on the way home, he had marched all over that hill! A good time was had by all. Until Morrow-Good Eve

MISS YOU MUCH!

Just about all of my family live here, except for my cousin Annette, her husband John and their son Seth. John is an Army man! He has been on several tours to areas i do not need to mention, i'm sure you can figure it out. They have lived in Colorado, Germany, Kentucky, and now Tennessee.  I am so proud of John and all he does for this country. He is a very smart and brave man. Annette, my cousin is also very smart and brave. She has to keep the home fires burning! John loves my Strawberry Pretzel Salad! He asks for the recipe everytime i see him, which isn't as often as i would like. He tells me "give the recipe to Annette". So i send her the recipe. A fews months later John will ask me to send the recipe again. Well, i'm thinking didn't i already do that? John informs me that Annette has misplaced the recipe for the thousandth time. Oh well ,third times the charm or in this case the thousandth and one time. I love you guys and miss you much!  Until Morrow-Good Eve

WYATT AND GA GA IN THE BACKYARD

Today  was my stay home day, after i pick Wyatt up of course. I like Thursday because i can sleep until five o'clock, no makeup needed get in the jeep and go. Wyatt and I decided to spend some time in the backyard. Wyatt likes to take off at full speed for the front yard. I'm huffing and puffing to catch up to him before his face meets the pavement. Safe again in the backyard! Our backyard needs some serious help! We don't have grass we have dirt turf, make you trip acorns and rubble(not Barney Rubble).  Hope you enjoy the pictures of our day in the backyard. Until Morrow, Good-Eve.

GA GA AND WYATT GO TO THE PARK............AGAIN!

Well another Monday, another trip downtown! My day starts around 4:30am everyday. I hit the road for downtown at 6:00am. Sometimes Wyatt is up sometimes he isn't. This was the day he slept late. Yes! I love it when he sleeps late, the apartment is very quiet and i can read the Wall Street Journal and sip coffee. Wyatt is awake by 7:00. I can hear him talking in his crib upstairs. I go upstairs and quietly open his door. There his is standing up in his crib, blanket and dog in hand." Hi Ga Ga, Hi Wyatt." Down the stairs we go for breakfast and Sesame Street. After a breakfast of French Toast, peaches, juice and a poop, we head out to the park. I take a different route to the park today. Lots of beautiful homes, but the sidewalks are very narrow and bumpy. We arrive at the park, there's only one child here. Sweet!  She leaves shortly after we arrive. Wyatt plays awhile, i ask him if he would like some juice because Ga Ga is thirsty. I watch him get in his stroller and begin sipping his juice. "Are you ready to go home"? Yes, he grunts. I cannot believe this. We only played for maybe twenty minutes! I realize as we are walking back to the apartment that he isn't feeling well. Wyatt's lunch: apple banana strawberry something. That's all! He starts going up the stairs, ready for nap and its not twelve yet! Oh well ,why not!  Until Morrow-Good Eve
